Background
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of Bathythermograph Capability Sonobuoys, specifically the AN/SSQ-36B model. The goal of this contract is to provide the U.S. Navy and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) with high-quality sonobuoys that meet operational requirements for underwater surveillance and data collection.

Work Details
The contract includes the following items:
1. **Item 0001**: 6,000 Each Bathythermograph Capability Sonobuoys (AN/SSQ-36B - USN), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), FOB: Destination.
2. **Item 0002**: 5,240 Each Bathythermograph Capability Sonobuoys (AN/SSQ-36B - FMS), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), FOB: Destination.
3. **Item 0003**: Data in support of CLIN 0001, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), details specified in Exhibit A, FOB: Destination.

Specifications include:
- Compliance with MADOC Basic Sections C.2 through C.10 for configuration and manufacturing readiness assessments.
- Submission of a Safety Assessment Report (SAR) for the AN/SSQ-36B sonobuoy as per CDRL A00M.
- Delivery requirements stipulate that lot 1 must be delivered within 12 months of contract award, with subsequent lots delivered every 12 months thereafter.

Period of Performance
Delivery of lot 1 within 12 months of contract award; subsequent lots to follow every 12 months.

Place of Performance
Delivery will be made to designated locations as specified in the contract.
