Annual Maintenance of FEI Helios 600i Focused Ion Beam / Scanning Electron Microscope for Benet Laboratories, Watervliet, NY

Background
The contract is issued by the Army Contracting Command-WVA for the maintenance of the FEI Helios 600i Focused Ion Beam / Scanning Electron Microscope at Benet Laboratories, Watervliet, NY. The mission of the agency is to ensure the quality, reliability, and accuracy of scientific instruments used for characterizing cutting-edge materials. The goal of this contract is to provide necessary maintenance and support to keep the equipment operational and effective for laboratory use.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide annual maintenance service which includes:
1 preventive maintenance (PM) per year,
calibration to factory specifications,
OEM replacement parts as available,
labor, materials, repairs, support, and software updates for the following items:
- Helios Nanolab 600i (S/N 9921883)
- FEI Easylift (S/N 9921883.1)
- Pt Deposition (S/N 9921883.2)
- ICE Detector (S/N 9921883.3)
- STEM Detector (S/N 9921883.4)
- NavCam (S/N 9921883.5).
The contractor will not be required to provide consumable items such as final apertures, scintillators, or filaments but must provide specific consumable items including an Ion Source (QTY 1), Extractor Assembly (QTY 1), and Suppressor (QTY 1). The contractor's response time for service calls must be within 48 hours after notification of equipment problems or failures.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this maintenance contract is from April 1, 2025 through March 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Benet Laboratories, Watervliet Arsenal, Watervliet, NY 12189.
