Annual License Maintenance & Remote Monitoring Services

Background
The contract is issued by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to provide annual license maintenance and remote monitoring services for healthcare information systems. The goal is to ensure the operational integrity and compliance of Allscripts-provided hardware and software within NIH facilities.

Work Details
Contractor personnel must be fully capable technicians with OEM certification if required. Maintenance includes repairs from ordinary use, excluding damages from government negligence or misuse. Only new or equivalent parts meeting OEM specifications are to be used, with a warranty provided for all replacement parts.

The contractor must install Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) within 60 days of approval and ensure equipment remains at the current ECO level. On-call maintenance is available 24/7, with a one-hour response time for system problems. The contractor must log all calls in a Problem Log accessible electronically by NIH.

Period of Performance
The Principal Period of Maintenance is Monday through Friday, 6AM to 6PM, excluding holidays, with on-call maintenance available outside these hours.
