On or about July 20, 2016, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Science Mission Directorate (SMD) is releasing a solicitation amendment: the 2016 Small Heliophysics Explorer (SMEX) Announcement of Opportunity (AO) Amendment 1. Upon the release date, the full text will be available at http://nspires.nasaprs.com/.

The date of the Preproposal Conference has been changed to August 15, 2016. More information about the Preproposal Conference will be posted on the Heliophysics Explorer Acquisition Homepage at http://explorers.larc.nasa.gov/HPSMEX.

The deadline for the submission of a Notice of Intent (NOI) to propose has been changed to August 19, 2016.

Please note the Deadline for Proposal Submission has not changed from October 14, 2016.
