Background
The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is issuing this solicitation for Anesthesia Equipment Maintenance Services at the Navy Medical Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) in Beaufort, South Carolina. The goal of this contract is to ensure that medical equipment, specifically Dräger anesthesia workstations, is maintained in compliance with current codes and standards, thereby supporting the agency's mission to provide high-quality healthcare services.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, vehicles, materials, supervision, and transportation necessary to effectively perform all requested services. This includes:
1. Corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, calibration, and emergency maintenance of medical equipment as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
2. Compliance with current codes and standards governing the operation and maintenance of medical equipment including OEM manuals and regulations from the Joint Commission, NFPA, OSHA, and EPA.
3. Scheduled preventive maintenance performed according to manufacturer specifications at mutually agreed times.
4. Immediate check-in with the BIOMED team upon arrival at the facility and coordination with Medical Repair team for escort to equipment locations.
5. Maintenance of a correspondence tracking system for timely responses to reports and field service reports submitted within 10 calendar days after service completion.
6. Restoration of equipment to full performance standards following repairs or maintenance activities.
7. Adherence to specific response times for emergency (2 hours), urgent (48 hours), and routine work orders (30 days).
8. Maintenance of detailed service records available within 3 business days post-service.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period defined by the specific requirements outlined in the PWS but does not specify exact dates.

Place of Performance
Navy Medical Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC), Beaufort, South Carolina.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be authorized service providers for Dräger equipment as only they can meet OEM standards required for this contract. Contractors must also comply with base security requirements including obtaining necessary passes and clearances for personnel.

Incumbent Analysis (see Incumbents section for more detail)
This opportunity appears to have a confirmed incumbent based on prior award N6890821P0040, awarded to Draeger for anesthesia preventive maintenance services at the same general equipment category and period (08/13/21–08/12/26) with a value of $108,535. The current requirement similarly focuses on maintaining Dräger anesthesia workstations through preventive and corrective maintenance, calibration, emergency support, and compliance with OEM/manufacturer standards and applicable codes. The overlap in anesthesia equipment maintenance scope suggests the new effort may be a continuation or follow-on of the existing preventive maintenance work.
