Background
The solicitation is for the time charter of a vessel to provide logistics support to the Navy’s Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center located at Andros Island, Bahamas. The vessel must be manned sufficiently to operate 24/7 and provide mission essential logistics support.

Work Details
The vessel requirements include being U.S. flagged, self-sustaining, roll-on/roll-off (RO/RO) with specific configurations and horsepower. It must have applicable USCG and class society certificates, capable of an eight-knot minimum speed when fully laden during moderate weather conditions, and have a minimum operational range of 1,000 nautical miles without re-fueling. The vessel should also have unassisted berthing capabilities, specific freeboard and cargo space requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base period of one year with three one-year option periods and one final option for 11 months. The laydays for delivery are from January 22, 2024, to April 22, 2024.

The place of delivery and redelivery is AUTEC – Andros Island, Bahamas.
