Analytic Innovation Lab Modeling and Simulation Services for Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation (CAPE)   2

This is not a request for quote/proposal but a synopsis notice. Pursuant to FAR 5.203(a) Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD), on behalf of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation (CAPE), intends to extend services by issuing an extension to the incumbent, Group W, Inc. on a sole source basis, 2650 Park Tower Drive, Suite 500, Alexandria, VA 22180-7300. The services are being extended to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform Modeling and Simulation Support.

The contractor is currently performing services under Task Order number HQ0034-17-F-0342, with services concluding on July 31, 2023. The anticipated period of performance is for 45 days from August 1, 2023 to September 14, 2023.

The anticipated award will be made under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 8.405- 6(a) (1) (i) (C) Limiting Sources. The requirement is currently being re-competed through a competitive acquisition with an anticipated award date August 25, 2023.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will NOT be honored or acknowledged.
