AN/SQQ-89 Surface Ship Undersea Warfare Combat Systems (USWCS) Software Builds   2

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a sole source contract to Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (LM RMS) of Manassas, Virginia using other than full and open competition pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 3204 (c)(1) and as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1.

The contemplated contract is anticipated to cover FY25-FY29 software development of AN/SQQ-89 systems, to include one base year and four option years. The Government anticipates requirements for development, qualification, certification, and integration initiatives required to maintain fielded AN/SQQ-89 baselines and perform integration and certification of future baselines, to include Advanced Capability Build (ACB)-19, ACB-23, ACB-25, ACB-27, and ACB-29. This contract will contain only the AN/SQQ-89 software requirements. The related AN/SQQ-89 hardware requirements have been solicited separately via full and open competition.

This pre-solicitation notice is for information only and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to solicit contractual offers or award contracts. The Government is not soliciting, nor will it accept, proposals as a result of this synopsis. If a competitive solicitation is issued in the future, it will be announced via SAM.gov, and interested parties must comply with that announcement. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any questions submitted or information provided as a result of this notice. This is not a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation, and this information is subject to modification and in no way binds the Government to award a contract.
