AN/SLQ-25E "NIXIE" Torpedo Countermeasure   2

Ultra Electronics Ocean Systems, Inc., Braintree, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $186,411,242 cost plus fixed fee, cost reimbursable, indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity contract for the AN/SLQ-25E NIXIE' electro-acoustic towed torpedo countermeasure system. The acquisition is to develop a form, fit, and function design modernization to the NIXIE AN/SLQ-25C variant in order to address obsolescence issues present in currently fielded systems. The procurement includes Production Representative Articles, First Articles, forward and backfit production units, and miscellaneous production items along with program management support. Engineering and technical services to support design and Government system integration are also included in the procurement. Work will be performed in Braintree, Massachusetts, Manchester, New Hampshire, Lititz, Pennsylvania, and Huntington Beach, California and is expected be completed by December 2026. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $268,514,278 This contract was competitively procured via the Federal Business Opportunities website, with two offers received.
