AN/APX-119 Repair, Production, Technical Support & Engineering Services

Background
The contract is issued by the United States Air Force (USAF) for the production, repair, technical support, engineering services, and data related to the AN/APX-119 Identify Friend or Foe (IFF) system.

The IFF system is critical for maintaining safety in flight for various operational aircraft platforms within the USAF inventory. This contract aims to ensure that all necessary services and parts are available to support the IFF systems, which are mandated by the FAA to be operational for aircraft flying within US airspace.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing a range of services including:
- Production repair and spare part manufacturing for the AN/APX-119 IFF system.
- Technical support and engineering services related to the associated National Stock Numbers (NSNs).

The contractor must also adhere to various reporting and maintenance requirements as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), including regular maintenance of Government Furnished Property/Equipment.

Period of Performance
The period of performance includes one basic period of twelve months and four additional twelve-month ordering periods from the date of award.

Place of Performance
Performance will occur at the contractor's repair or manufacturing facilities, not on a U.S. Government installation. However, technical assistance may be provided at government-approved engineering service projects on a U.S. installation.
