AN/ALQ-131 Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) Pod Parts - Additional Part Numbers 4-3-2025

Background
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s (HBY-EW FMS) Electronic Warfare and Avionics (EW&A) division is conducting market research to identify potential sources for the design, manufacture, and qualification of AN/ALQ-131 Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) Pod Parts. This initiative aims to enhance the capabilities of the USAF by ensuring a reliable supply of critical ECM components.

The solicitation includes additional part numbers not previously listed in earlier sources sought synopsis FA8523-25-R-ECMPODPARTS.

Work Details
Contractors are expected to provide expertise, capabilities, and experience in the following areas:
1. Design, manufacture, and qualification of AN/ALQ-131 ECM Pod Parts as specified by Northrop Grumman Corporation (the OEM).
2. Participation in a market research survey to demonstrate capability in meeting these requirements.
3. Addressing technical aspects such as generating technical data, engineering drawings, and manuals; handling classified materials; and ensuring compliance with quality assurance processes such as ISO 9001 or AS9100.
4. Capability to manage configuration processes, address parts obsolescence, and provide solutions for form, fit, and function issues.
5. Potential involvement in reverse engineering or item replacement opportunities related to the ECM Pod Parts.

Period of Performance
The contract performance is anticipated to extend over several months or years as determined by future solicitations following this market research.

Place of Performance
The work will primarily be performed at contractor facilities capable of handling classified materials and adhering to military specifications.
