AN/AAS-54 EO/IR Sensor System   4

Background
This requirement is issued by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, for sustaining engineering and technical support of the AN/AAS-54 Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) Sensor System installed on USAF HC/MC-130J aircraft. The AN/AAS-54 EO/IR Multi-Spectral Targeting System (MTS-A) provides video, target tracking, eye-safe laser range finding and marking, and imaging in adverse weather and low-light conditions to support navigation, search, rescue, and reconnaissance missions.
The objective is to resolve deficiencies and improve system reliability, maintainability, and functionality.

Work Details
Provide engineering studies and technical support to resolve reliability and maintainability issues, obsolete parts problems, and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) issues;
Analyze failure trends from depots and field-level shops;
Perform software maintenance activities;
Deliver monthly status reports and quarterly obsolescence reports with mitigation recommendations;
Respond to deficiency reports and field-identified issues;
Conduct engineering investigations and formal anomaly investigations on aircraft and test equipment;
Correct errors in engineering drawings;
Prepare and deliver technical reports of all findings;
Perform prototyping as required;
Support warfighter missions by ensuring timely resolution of system discrepancies and expeditious return of aircraft to full mission capability.

All tasks shall be accomplished at the contractor’s facility and other Government-specified locations.

Period of Performance
One-year base period plus two one-year option periods.

Place of Performance
Contractor’s facility (Raytheon Company, 2501 W. University Drive, McKinney, TX 75071-1300) and other locations as specified by the Government, including Air Force depots and field-level shops.

Bidder Requirements
Sole source award to Raytheon Company (CAGE 96214).
