Description

Soliciation N64498-21-R-4010 for Circuit Breakers. See attached RFP.

Background
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) is responsible for research, development, test and evaluation, engineering, and fleet support for the Navy’s ships.

This contract is aimed at replacing circuit breakers on Amphibious class ships to support new ring bus capabilities as part of the LHD-1 Class mid-life upgrade.

Work Details
The contract involves the design, fabrication, and delivery of various models of circuit breakers:

- 2000A (100kA)
- 4000A (100kA)
- 3200A (85kA)
- 2000A (85kA)

Each model must be form-fit-function replacements for existing breakers with specific busbar configurations. The contract includes First Article Testing (FAT) and environmental qualification testing per MIL-DTL-17587 standards. Quantities over five years are estimated as follows:

- 2000A (100kA) - 120 units
- 4000A (100kA) - 130 units
- 3200A (85kA) - 74 units
- 2000A (85kA) - 82 units.

Period of Performance
From date of award through a maximum of 72 months.

Place of Performance
Deliveries will be made to NSWCPD locations including San Diego, CA and Norfolk, VA.
