Ammunition Supply Point/Theater Storage Area - Kuwait 3.0   4

Background
The Army Contracting Command Rock Island (ACC-RI) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the performance of the Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) and Theater Storage Area (TSA) located at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.

The goal of this contract is to provide Class V munitions supply support for all ammunition stocks accounted for by the 1st Theater Sustainment Command (1TSC) to U.S. Military/Government components, Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, and coalition forces in the Central Command (CENTCOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR).

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing services, resources, and management for accountability, issues/turn-ins, reclamation, storage, surveillance, and shipments/receipts of Class V operations at the Camp Arifjan ASP.

Key tasks include:
- Conducting Class V supply operations in accordance with DOD and Army regulations/policies.
- Receiving, storing, and shipping containerized and break-bulk munitions.
- Issuing and maintaining Theater Reserve Munitions.
- Performing maintenance and repacking operations for munitions.
- Ensuring personnel are trained in Munitions Explosives Safety, Fire Fighting and Prevention, and Munitions Security while practicing strict Operations Security (OPSEC).
- Supporting periodic munitions readiness inspections; stock accountability; stock control; warehousing; munitions reclamation; inventory; packaging; shipment; and maintenance on all assigned support equipment.

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance consists of a 90-day Phase-in/Mobilization period followed by one base year of 12 months plus four optional periods of 12 months each, with an additional option for a six-month extension.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.
