AMEREX HALON Fire Extinguishers

Background
The contract requires a contractor with the knowledge and expertise to successfully inspect, service, and maintain AMEREX Halon 1211 150lb Wheeled Flight Line Fire Extinguishers. The work is related to the performance-based work statement (PWS) for the low-pressure test of the down tube and valve assembly to test the soldering joint on the fire extinguishers.

Work Details
The specific services include the low-pressure test of the down tube and valve assembly, inspection, service, maintenance, halon transfer/reclamation, record-keeping, and documentation. The contractor is required to perform these services according to TCTO 13F4-4-501 and current supplement TCTO 13F4-4-501D. Additionally, the work also involves ensuring that there are no defects in services and no delay in submitting reports.
