AMENDMENT NUMBER TWO - Physician and Pediatrician Services for the Woodrow Wilson Keeble Memorial Health Care Center-Sisseton Indian Health Service, Sisseton, South Dakota

Background
The Sisseton Indian Health Service – Woodrow Wilson Keeble Memorial Health Care Center (WWKMHCC) aims to provide optimal healthcare services to patients on the Lake Traverse Reservation in South Dakota. The Indian Health Service (IHS), under the Department of Health & Human Services, is responsible for delivering federal health services to American Indians and Alaska Natives. The WWKMHCC is seeking a non-personal service contract for up to three Family Medicine Outpatient Physician Providers and one Pediatrician to address a primary care provider shortage.

Work Details
The contract requires the provision of uninterrupted outpatient Family Medicine and Pediatrician services at WWKMHCC. Contract Providers will perform primary care services compatible with the facility's operating capacity, covering a range typical of rural civilian practices. Responsibilities include:

1. Locating, credentialing, and staffing Family Medicine Physicians and Pediatricians.
2. Providing seamless coverage in the Outpatient Department.
3. Conducting patient examinations, diagnosing conditions, prescribing therapies, and referring patients as necessary.
4. Participating in Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) models and promoting patient engagement.
5. Maintaining compliance with federal, state, IHS regulations, and accreditation standards.
6. Completing medical record documentation accurately and timely.
7. Engaging in quality improvement programs consistent with accreditation standards.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on September 1, 2025, with a base period of six months followed by nine option periods extending through August 31, 2030.
