Amendment - 51 CES GROUND MAINTENANCE SERVIE IN OSAN AIRBASE, REPUBLIC OF KOREA   3

Background
This solicitation is issued by the 51st Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) for ground maintenance services at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. The mission of the 51 CES is to provide essential engineering support and services to maintain the operational readiness of the base. The goal of this contract is to ensure that grounds maintenance is performed efficiently and effectively, adhering to safety and quality standards.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for various tasks including:

- Maintaining BASH (Bird Strike Hazard) grounds by mowing airfield areas to a height of 7 to 14 inches.
- Mowing taxiway and runway edge lights.
- Maintaining improved grounds by mowing to a height of 2 to 4 inches and removing clippings.
- Edging with no more than a half-inch cut from the surface.
- Trimming vegetation to match surrounding areas.
- Maintaining semi-improved grounds with similar mowing and trimming requirements.
- Ensuring perimeter fences are clear of vegetation.
- Policing debris, trash, and litter.
- Trimming shrubs and hedges.
- Removing vegetation from fencing.

The contractor must also develop a Quality Control Plan, Safety Plan, and provide regular reports on performance metrics as outlined in the Performance Requirements Summary (PRS). Additionally, all operations must comply with Korean laws and safety standards.

The contract will be performed at Osan Air Base, located in the Republic of Korea.
