The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), Indian Head, MD 20640, intends to award multiple Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) type contracts for the purchase of Metal Weapons Containers. This is a 100% HubZone Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. It is anticipated the contracts will be awarded no later than 29 April 2022.

Background
The solicitation N00174-22-R-0019 is for the procurement of Weapons Containers and Spare Parts by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD). The contract will be procured as a HubZone Small Business set aside, Firm-fixed-price (FFP), multiple award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) solicitation.

Work Details
The contract requires the manufacture, testing, and spare parts of metal weapons containers to support the Navy. The specific products to be manufactured include MK 841 MOD 0 Container First Article, MK 841 MOD 0 Container Production Units, Undetermined Weapon Container FAT, Undetermined Weapon Container Production, Container Spare Parts, and CDRLs (A001-A002).
The manufacturing process includes extrusion, machining, sheet metal work, finishing, cutting, precision measurement, and welding of different types of metal such as aluminum, steel, and stainless steel. The contract also requires the contractor to provide prototype support as required by each Delivery Order (DO) and perform testing to ensure items meet the requirements of the drawings and specifications.

Period of Performance
The contracts resulting from this solicitation will have a period of performance of a 5-year ordering period.

Place of Performance
The place of performance for the contract will be specific individually written Delivery Orders (DOs) issued by NSWC IHD within the general scope of this Statement of Work (SOW).
