AMENDMENT 3 Colonial Wigs (New Closing Date: 30 May 2025)

Background
The 3rd U.S. Infantry, known as 'The Old Guard,' is the oldest active-duty infantry unit in the Army, serving since 1784. It conducts memorial affairs operations in support of all Joint Services at Arlington National Cemetery to honor fallen service members and their families. The Old Guard serves as the Army's official ceremonial unit and escort to the president, providing security for Washington, D.C., during national emergencies or civil disturbances.

The objective of this contract is to establish an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for ordering up to 150 colonial-style wigs per year for specialty units of The Old Guard, including the Fife and Drum Corps, Commander in Chief’s Guard, and Continental Color Guard.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide colonial wigs that meet specific standards outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). The contract allows for the purchase of up to 150 wigs each year, with a minimum order quantity of 50 wigs and a maximum of 150 wigs per order. The total maximum quantity over the contract period is 750 wigs.

Wigs must meet specifications suitable for ceremonial duties. A product sample is required with each offer, which must be sent to Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Ft Belvoir, VA. Offers that do not demonstrate compliance with requirements will not be considered further for award.

Period of Performance
One base year of 12 months with four option years of 12 months each.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the vendor's place of business.
