AMENDMENT 2: RFP - Reaching Every At-Risk Community and Household with Malaria Services (REACH)   2

Background
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking proposals to provide implementation support and technical assistance to Ministries of Health (MoHs), local partners, and the global malaria community to support the delivery of facility and community-based malaria services, including malaria case management, prevention of malaria in pregnancy (MiP), seasonal malaria chemoprevention (SMC), and non-vector control prevention and control interventions.

Work Details
The purpose of this contract is to provide technical services for the Reaching Every At-Risk Community and Household with Malaria Services (REACH Malaria). The contract includes tasks such as providing implementation support and technical assistance to accelerate progress in planning, delivery, and monitoring of facility and community-based malaria services, strengthening community health systems, promoting early care-seeking, implementing universal diagnostic testing, providing immediate treatment with appropriate antimalarial drugs, supporting proactive community case management models, addressing challenges related to linkages with health facilities, human resources, data collection, HMIS integration, and strengthening implementation of community health policies.
Additionally, the contract involves supporting a three-pronged approach to reducing malaria in pregnancy in areas with moderate to high levels of malaria transmission: provision and promotion of ITNs to pregnant women; administration of IPTp with sulfadoxine/pyrimethamine; prompt diagnosis and effective treatment of malaria and anemia among pregnant women.

Period of Performance
The contract anticipates a single award of a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee, term-type contract for a five-year period.
