Amendment 2 Grounds Maintenance Services - Fort Hood, Texas   2

Background
This is a non-personal services contract to provide Grounds Maintenance Services for the U.S. Army Garrison Fort Hood, Texas. The contract will consist of five (5) one (1) year ordering periods, including a 30-day phase-in and 30-day phase-out.

Fort Hood is located near Killeen, Texas, encompassing approximately 218,823 acres and 5,838 buildings, serving a population of around 46,000 military and government personnel along with 48,500 resident family members.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform all grounds maintenance service tasks as described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Specific tasks include mowing, trimming, edging, cleanup, debris removal, and chemical sterilant application for approximately 3,700+ acres of the Fort Hood Installation.

The Contractor must ensure that all work results in a healthy and professional appearance of the grounds serviced. All debris must be removed from adjacent areas including sidewalks and parking lots. The Contractor is responsible for maintaining compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. The Contractor shall compile historical data and prepare required reports as specified in Section 7 of the PWS.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Fort Hood, Texas which includes the Main Cantonment area, West Fort Hood area, Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area (BLORA), and all areas under the control of the Fort Hood Installation.
