The purpose of this Amendment 1 is to:

1. Extend RFQ due date to Tuesday, 09 September 2025 at 2:00 pm EDT. All attachments now reference the revised RFQ due date.

2. Replace "Attachment 1_Description of Requirement" with "AMENDED_Attachment 1_Description of Requirement_20250903."

3. Replace Attachment "COMBINED SYNOPSIS_SOLICITATION FA441825Q0069 JB Charleston Navy NPTU Bunk Beds" with "AMENDED_COMBINED SYNOPSIS_SOLICITATION FA441825Q0069 JB Charleston Navy NPTU Bunk Beds_20250903."

The Nuclear Power Training Command (NPTU) requires eight (8) metal three-tier bunk bed assemblies (totaling twenty-four (24) individual berths) complete with safety rails, ladders, privacy partions, lee rails, and mattresses conforming to NAVSEA Technical Publication T9640-AC-DCP-010/HAB. See the attached "Description of Requirement" for salient characteristics. This is for use by sailors on the YFNX 20 barge during the MTS 626 decommissioning.

Background
The Nuclear Power Training Command (NPTU) is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of metal three-tier bunk beds to support the living conditions of sailors on the YFNX 20 barge during the MTS 626 decommissioning.

The goal is to provide durable and compliant sleeping arrangements that meet specific technical requirements outlined in NAVSEA Technical Publication T9640-AC-DCP-010/HAB.

Work Details
The contract requires the purchase and delivery of twenty-four (24) metal three-tier bunk beds with the following specifications:
- Dimensions: 76"L x 84.5"H x 28.3125"D
- Features: Rails, ladders, full privacy partitions, lee rails (in lieu of lee straps), and compatibility with 74-inch mattresses.
- Minimum deck clearance of 6 inches and a minimum clearance of 20 inches above the top bunk as per NAVSEA guidelines.
- Total Price must include shipping/freight costs.

Period of Performance
Delivery is required no later than February 1, 2026.
