Description

Acting independently and not as an agent of the Government, the contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, other items (except as specified to be furnished by the Government), and non-personal services to perform the meteorological support requirements of the attached PWS. As defined in this PWS, the contractor shall perform the required functions of the attached PWS to include (but not limited to) Mission Support; Local Community Meteorological Support; O&M of Meteorological Equipment and Instrumentation; I&M; and Management. The contractor shall not perform functions that are inherently governmental. GFP, GFE, GFI, and GFS will be provided IAW Section J of the contract and as referenced in Section I, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses Government Property clauses FAR 52.245-1 and 52.245-9, incorporated into the contract. The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract.

The solicitation is for Meteorological Support Services at the Reagan Test Site. The contractor is required to provide all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and non-personal services to perform the meteorological support requirements. Work Details
The tasks include Mission Support; Local Community Meteorological Support; O&M of Meteorological Equipment and Instrumentation; I&M; and Management. The contract shall divide the total amount appropriately amongst each Mission/I&M CLINs. The contract includes various items such as Phase-In O&M, Base Labor (LCMS/O&M), Base Matl/Tvl/ODC/DBA (LCMS/O&M), Base Labor (Mission/I&M), Base Matl/Tvl/ODC/DBA (Mission/I&M), and options for labor and supplies/services.

Period of Performance
The period of performance varies for different tasks and options. CLINs 0001-0005 have a period of 24 months after the effective date of the contract. CLINs 1001-1004 have a period of 12 months after the effective date of the option exercise. CLINs 2001-2004 and 3001-3004 also have a period of 12 months after the effective date of the option exercise.

Place of Performance
The place of performance is at Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands.
