The purpose of Amendment Number 0002 to Request for Proposals (RFP) Solicitation Number 7200AA24R00016 is to:

(1) Provide formal responses to questions received from Offerors. Please note that only one answer is provided for duplicative or similar questions. All questions and responses contained in Attachment 1 to this amendment, are hereby incorporated into the amended RFP;
(2) Provide Amendment 0002 to Solicitation Number 7200AA24R00016, updated to respond to questions received from Offerors; and,
(3) Provide revised Attachment J.2 entitled "List of Countries" and Attachment J.7 entitled Budget Format , referenced in the amended RFP.

All other terms and conditions of the RFP, as amended, remain in full force and effect. [END OF AMENDMENT 0002]

Background
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) seeks proposals from qualified organizations interested in providing technical services under the STRengthening Infectious disease DEtection Systems (STRIDES) Activity for USAID Global Health, Office of Infectious Disease, Emerging Threats Division (GH/ID/ETD). USAID anticipates the award of a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee, Term-Type Contract for a five (5) year period of performance as a result of this RFP. The total estimated cost will be approximately $245-$255 million.

Work Details
The purpose of this Contract is to provide technical services that fall within the Statement of Work (SOW) specified in Section C for the “STRengthening Infectious disease DEtection Systems (STRIDES) Activity.” This is a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) term (level of effort) type contract which will provide field support and include mission funding. The contract will be centrally managed.

The Contractor shall achieve the objectives and deliverables or outputs for the results described in Section C and F.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a five (5) year period of performance.
