Background
The Irwin Army Community Hospital is seeking to procure 10 Rugby wheelchairs as part of its mission to provide necessary medical equipment for patient care. The goal of this contract is to enhance the mobility and rehabilitation options available to patients requiring specialized wheelchairs.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery of 10 Rugby Offensive Wheelchairs with the following specifications:
- Unit of Measure: Each (EA)
- Quantity: 10
- Specifications include:
- Small button 5/8" 4.75 wheel axle with four balls
- Extra wide seat dimensions ranging from 16.5" to 20"
- Heavy-duty seat back posts and footplate frame with gussets
- Thick wall tubing on vertical posts
- Polyethylene rear chair guards
- Wheels: 25" Spinergy Sport wheel SLX with a red hub, and Kendas 559 kontester tires in red
- Includes a tube for the wheels (25" 559)
- Offensive polyethylene spoke guards with washers
- Adjustable ratchet strap sets for hips (high release, measuring 12")
- Foam seat pad measuring 1" thick
- Velcro foot strap measuring 2"x30"
- NO STEP sticker measuring 2"x5" and a DO NOT STEP label on the footplates.
