Amendment 0002 - Combined Synopsis Solicitation - 36C78626Q50013 - HVAC and BMS Maintenance Services for Calverton National Cemetery -- J041

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration is issuing this Combined Synopsis Solicitation for HVAC and Building Management System (BMS) maintenance services at Calverton National Cemetery.

The mission of the National Cemetery Administration is to honor veterans with a final resting place and lasting memorials that commemorate their service to the nation. This contract aims to ensure that the maintenance and operational procedures reflect the nation's concern for those interred at the cemetery.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide complete Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Building Management System (BMS) maintenance services, which include:

1. Preventative maintenance inspections on all HVAC equipment listed in Appendix A, including seasonal filter and belt replacements.
2. Seasonal maintenance inspections for all equipment, ensuring proper operation and addressing any deficiencies.
3. Peak performance maintenance for Delta Controls BMS for the Administration Building.
4. Labor for critical failure service calls during operational hours (Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM) and approximately two Saturdays when requested by the Contracting Officer.
5. Compliance with all relevant safety regulations, including OSHA standards. The contractor must also maintain certifications such as EPA Section 608 Technician Certification and be a Delta Controls partner/Authorized System Integrator.

Period of Performance
The period of performance will be one base year from the date of award with four additional one-year options if exercised.
