The purpose of amendment 000003 is to extend the proposal due date, provide changes to Section B, J-6, L, M and respond to offeror's questions. Refer to Summary of Changes for details. -------------------------------------------------------------- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)has a requirement for the operation, maintenance, and support of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Tower Simulation Systems (TSS) used for technical/operational training of controllers at selected FAA air traffic control towers (ATCTs). Scope of Effort: This Screening Information Request/Request for Offer is for TSS Support Services. Refer to the SIR for a complete description of the requirement. Contract Type and Period of Performance: The resulting award will be Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (FFP IDIQ) with two Cost Reimbursable (CR) CLIN and a period of performance of one base year and four one year options with TSS support services anticipated to begin on October 1, 2017. The FAA will award one contract resulting from this individual SIR. Nature of Competition: This is a total small business set-aside. The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 541512, Computer Systems Design Services. The small business size standard for this code is $27.5 million. Offerors must request receipts for proposals if one is desired. All SIR Amendments issued, if any, must be signed on the cover page Solicitation, Offer and Award (Standard Form 33) and submitted with the Offerors proposal. (c) Signed Originals - Offerors must provide one signed original and all required copies. (d) Proposal Submission - Offerors assume full responsibility of ensuring that proposals are received at the place and by the date and time specified above. Facsimile or E-Mail submittals of proposals will not be accepted. Proposals may be hand-delivered or mailed by commercial delivery or US Mail. Questions: Questions pertaining to this SIR must be submitted in written form through email to Wanda Mundy, Contracting Officer, at wanda.mundy@faa.gov no later than 12:00 p.m., May 17, 2017. Questions and responses that clarify the SIR may be provided to all Offerors; however the source of the questions will not be identified. The FAA plans to publish responses to questions on FAA Contract Opportunities on June 8, 2017.
