Background
The U.S. Coast Guard’s Civil Engineering Unit is conducting a market survey and is seeking qualified companies to provide professional services to REPLACE CRAIGHILL CHANNEL RANGE LIGHTS U.S. COAST GUARD ANT BALTIMORE, BALTIMORE, MD. The project is a competitive, firm‐fixed‐price construction project outlined in with an estimated price range between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The duration of the project is currently estimated at 469 calendar days from the issuance of a Notice to Proceed.

Work Details
The project involves disestablishing both the Craighill Channel Rear and Front Range Lighthouses, removing electrical service to optics location in the upper portion of the towers, disconnecting the existing submarine power cable and removing all associated electrical equipment, including transformers both shoreside and on the lighthouses and equipment and returning them to the USCG. It also includes providing temporary hazard optics as necessary and constructing Craighill Channel Range Front and Rear Lights including platforms, ladders, boat landings, navigational equipment, lattice tower, and all appurtenances and equipment as indicated on the contract drawings and specifications. Coordination of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) with OIC of CG ANT Baltimore is required.
