Amended Pre-solicitation Notice for Contract W56HZV-23-C-0078

The Government intends to issue a Modification to Contract W56HZV-23-C-0078 to procure nine (09) additional M88A2 vehicles. Contract W56HZV-23-C-0078 was awarded to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), BAE Systems Land & Armaments, L.P. (BAE), Cage Code: 06085, on a sole source basis for one-year under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, and 10 U.S.C 3204(a)(1) Only One Responsible Source, and No Other Suppliers or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements . BAE is the developer and manufacturer of the M88 Family of Vehicles. The Technical Data Package is source controlled by BAE and is non-competitive.

A Modification to Contract W56HZV-23-C-0078 is targeted for release on 15 November 2023. This is an amended pre-solicitation notice (otherwise known as a synopsis). Further inquiries may be addressed to Randy Hoffman at randy.t.hoffman2.civ@army.mil for information requests.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

This announcement is not a request for proposals. Contractors shall not submit proposals in response to this notice.
