Background
The Beckley VA Medical Center, located at 200 Veterans Ave, Beckley, WV, serves over 13,000 veterans primarily from southern West Virginia. The facility has 18 inpatient beds and handles approximately 2,340 inpatient admissions and 240,000 outpatient visits annually.

This solicitation aims to procure ground ambulance services to support the medical center and its associated Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs).

Work Details
The contractor shall provide non-emergency ambulance transportation services including Stretcher Transports, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Critical Care Transport (CCT) services available 24/7. Responsibilities include:
- Providing all vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, and equipment necessary for the service.
- Transporting patients along with their luggage, medical records, medications, and comfort items at no additional cost.
- Ensuring all personnel meet qualifications specified in the contract and comply with applicable laws.
- Conducting background checks for personnel and maintaining compliance with tuberculosis exposure control policies.
- Utilizing the VetRide Vendor Portal or VA-approved software for transportation requests and invoicing.
- Meeting response times for emergent transport requests within specified timeframes based on urgency.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over five ordering periods: from October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2030.
