Amarillo VA Temporary Housing Lodging

Background
The Network Contracting Office 17, located at 5441 Babcock Road Ste. 302, San Antonio, Texas 78240, is seeking to procure hotel services for eligible Veterans requiring treatment at the Amarillo VA Health Care System.
This solicitation is part of the agency's mission to provide necessary support and accommodations for Veterans in need of medical care.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide hotel services (lodging) for eligible Veterans at the Amarillo VA Health Care System, located at 6010 W. Amarillo Blvd, Amarillo, VA 79106.
The lodging facility must be within a five-mile radius of the health care system and must offer rooms equipped with full and/or queen beds, with a focus on ADA accessibility.
The requirements include:
- Provision of up to five rooms from Sunday through Thursday each week for 52 weeks.
- Daily changing of linens and provision of basic toiletries.
- Inclusion of all applicable taxes and fees in the quoted daily room rates.
- Allowance for spouses or caretakers to stay at no additional cost.
- Rooms must have a refrigerator and microwave.
- Compliance with local hotel/motel codes and ordinances.
- Provision of utilities such as heat, air conditioning, electricity, water, local telephone service, and basic television cable service.
- Preference for hotels within walking distance to restaurants or provision of nearby dining options.
- Daily reservations made by the Program Manager or Delegate by 10:30 AM; unoccupied rooms released after 7:00 PM unless notified otherwise.
- Handicapped accessible parking must be available.
- The Contractor is responsible for damages caused by occupants but not liable for theft or damages incurred during occupancy.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over multiple ordering periods starting from June 10, 2026, through June 9, 2030.
