Description

MOBILE HARBOR, ALABAMA DEEPENING AND WIDENING - PHASE 2A. THIS PROJECT IS ADVERTISED ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS AS A STAND-ALONE ?C? TYPE INVITATION FOR BID (IFB) SOLICITATION.
Background
The US Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, has issued solicitation W9127824B0007 for the MOBILE HARBOR, ALABAMA DEEPENING AND WIDENING - PHASE 2A project. The project is advertised on an unrestricted basis as a stand-alone 'C' type Invitation for Bid (IFB) solicitation.

Work Details
The work involves deepening and widening the Mobile Harbor in Alabama. The solicitation includes detailed drawings and general notes, such as the project map, overall dredge plan, partial dredge plans, dredge disposal area, typical dredge section, bar channel dredge cross sections, boring profiles, and centerline coordinates of the Mobile Harbor channel. The elevations shown in the plan set are referenced to feet in Mean Lower Low Water (M.L.L.W.) datum. All coordinates are in feet and referenced to Alabama State Plane Coordinate System NAD 83 datum (0102) West Zone. The hydrographic survey of the harbor channel was performed on October 19, 2023. The survey for the SIBUA disposal area was performed in May 2023. The survey of the ODMS was performed on September 8, 2023.
