Background
The Army Contracting Command — Letterkenny Contracting Office (CCAM-ALK) is issuing this Sources Sought/Request for Information as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for Alternator Test Bench. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 334515. There is no solicitation at this time. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Contractor should not provide any pricing information. The sole purpose of this request is to locate qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: 1) Business name, mailing address, email address, website address, Point of Contact (POC), telephone number 2) Business size, any socioeconomic status (i.e. HUB Zone,8(a) Veteran- Owned, Women-Owned, etc.), company Cage Code and DUNS number, type of ownership for the organization 3) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. Work Details
Machine Features: The Alternator test bench shall have the following minimum features:
Electronic variable speed control with controlled speed range
Speed range from approximately 800 to 7,000 R.P.M. for testing
Heavy-duty motor compatible with quiet electronic variable speed inverters
Off/forward/reverse motor switch
Electronic Variable Load Control for load current and dissipating and forced air cooling
No carbon pile load
Display shows if main diodes are shorted or open
Lamps simulate dash light operation
Oscilloscope plug connectors
Alternator harness for easy hook-up for all types alternator test leads
Serpentine/V belt combination pulley
Heavy-duty D.C. power contactors ON/OFF mains lamp
Heavy-duty hook-up leads and clamps Easy servicing Four input and output meters Voltmeter volt range and display 0-18/36/54 for alternator output voltage Ammeter 0-250/500 scale shows output amperage Ammeter 0-250 scale shows battery charging amperage Ammeter 15-0-15 scale shows rotor draw Compensating alternator R.P.M Digital tachometer adjustable for pulley size A/B circuit switch 12/24/32 voltmeter range switch Voltmeter external switch for testing stator voltage and relay terminal Alternator output leads dead until motor or battery is ON Battery ON switch for constant battery voltage Fully copper wound class B insulated moisture resistant transformers Field circuit and heavy duty transformers protected by circuit breakers Sturdy heavy-duty cast iron mounting vise with alternator bracket for Quick mounting and removal of alternators Heavy duty hold down feature to secure heavy duty alternators Hinged belt guard Free running 12/24/32 volt no load starter test UTILITY REQUIREMENTS: The Alternator Test Bench shall operate with 240 VAC, 60Hz, Three Phase power and 70-90 psi shop air FOOTPRINT: The Alternator Test Bench will be no larger than 39”D x 48”L x 30°H
