Alteration and Installation Support Services for SE and ALRE at Shipboard and Shore Site Locations

Background
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Support Equipment (SE) and Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Departments at Naval Air Warfare Center, Lakehurst, NJ require alteration and installation support services for SE and ALRE at shipboard and shore site locations.

This contract is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) aimed at fulfilling the mission of providing necessary support for aviation operations.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide qualified personnel to perform Shipboard and Shore Site Alteration and Installation services for Aviation Support Equipment (SE) and Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE). Services include:

- Structural work
- Welding
- Electrical/Electronics/Lighting
- Pipefitting/Plumbing
- Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC)
- Quality Assurance inspections of work
- Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
- Fire Alarm/Suppression system management
- Fire Watch duties
- Paint Testing/Abatement
- Marine Chemist/Competent Person services
- Painting
- Decking/Floor Covering installation
- Lagging/Insulation work
- Local Area Network (LAN)/Fiber Optic systems installation
- Telephone Systems setup
- Proofload Testing
- Packaging and Shipping tasks
- Rigging operations
- Debris/Hazardous Material Disposition.

The contractor is responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable documents such as NAVSEA Technical Specifications and Quality Management System standards.

Place of Performance
The work will be conducted at various shipboard and shore site locations as specified in individual task orders.
