Allatoona Bulkhead Inspection

Allatoona Dam is a high hazard potential concrete gravity dam located 47.86 river miles above the mouth of the Etowah River in Georgia. It impounds a reservoir known as Allatoona Lake covering parts of Bartow, Cobb, and Cherokee Counties. It is located about 32 miles northwest of Atlanta and 26 miles northeast of Rome, Georgia. The closest city to the project is Cartersville, GA. The objective of this project is for a contractor to provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform a multi-technology nondestructive evaluation (NDE) at the downstream sides of the two (2) temporary bulkheads at the Allatoona Dam in Cartersville, GA.
