Description

This amendment is to incorporate PPI responses and to extend the proposal submission date to 28 Aug 2025.

Background
The contract is issued by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) for the ALFWAL Rubber Removal and Repaint Runways project at Waldron Outlying Airfield, Corpus Christi. The mission of NAVFAC is to provide facilities support to the Navy and Marine Corps, ensuring operational readiness. The goal of this contract is to remove rubber deposits from runways 18/36 and 13/31 and repaint them, enhancing safety and operational efficiency.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:

1. Complete removal of rubber deposits from the runway surfaces as per specifications referenced in the Statement of Work (SOW).

2. Repainting of runway markings that are disturbed during the rubber removal process.

3. Adherence to applicable specifications such as UFC 3-260-02, UFC 3-260-04, AC 150-5340-1M, and AC 150-5370-10H for all tasks.

The contractor must ensure that both runways can be closed simultaneously for the duration of the work, coordinating with Airfield Management for scheduling.

The construction projects will be performed at Waldron Outlying Airfield, Corpus Christi, Texas.
