Background
The Medical Readiness Contracting Office – West (MRCO-W) has a requirement for FDA approved and TAA compliant Alcon Ophthalmology Implants, Supplies, and surgical equipment. This contract aims to provide essential ophthalmic products to Brooke Army Medical Center, Surgical Services, located at Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide Alcon ophthalmology implants, supplies, and surgical equipment that meet the following salient characteristics:

- All products must be FDA approved and TAA compliant;
- Must be clinically proven to significantly correct moderate to severe vision impairment enhancing quality of life;
- Staff surgeons must be familiar with the product;
- Operating room staff must be familiar with the implant;
- Must be a global leader in eye care;
- Must offer a broad range of surgical products to customize care based on patient needs.

Additionally, the products must include:

- A broad portfolio of intraocular lenses for vision correction procedures;
- Advanced phacoemulsification and surgical systems for cataract and refractive surgery;
- Ophthalmic visualization equipment for enhanced surgical accuracy;
- Proprietary consumables tailored to ophthalmic platforms;
- Clinical training for effective product use;
- Dedicated technical support through certified engineers.
