ALCO 251 Overhaul Parts Kits   3

Background
This solicitation is issued by the U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center for the procurement of ALCO 251 Overhaul Parts Kits. The goal of this contract is to ensure the availability of essential parts for maintenance and overhaul of ALCO engines used in U.S. Coast Guard cutters.

Fairbanks Morse, LLC is identified as the sole source contractor for this acquisition, which is critical for maintaining operational readiness of the fleet.

Work Details
The contract encompasses the manufacture, inspection, preservation, packaging, and marking of ALCO 251 engine overhaul parts kits. The kits must include only new OEM parts from Fairbanks Morse Defense, with no reclaimed or aftermarket components allowed.

- CLIN 0004: CSO KIT, 210A NO. 2 MDE - Est. Quantity: 1
- CLIN 0005: CSO KIT, 210B NO. 1 MDE - Est. Quantity: 0
- CLIN 0006: CSO KIT, 210B NO. 2 MDE - Est. Quantity: 0
- CLINs for various other kits including TEO and DEI parts kits with specified quantities.

All parts must conform to high standards of workmanship and quality as outlined in the specification documents.

Period of Performance
The base contract period will be one year from the date of award with options to extend for four additional one-year periods.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to U.S. Coast Guard facilities including Medium Endurance Cutter Product Line (MECPL) and Long Range Enforcer Product Line (LREPL).
