Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation for multiple, single-award indefinite-delivery contracts to provide nursing home services across the entire state of Alaska.

The goal of this contract is to ensure that eligible beneficiaries receive necessary nursing home care as part of the Alaska VA Health Care System's mission to support veterans.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing nursing home services to eligible beneficiaries within the Alaska VA Health Care System. This includes but is not limited to:
- Delivering comprehensive nursing care tailored to the needs of patients with reduced physical function.
- Adhering to wage determination documents as outlined in Section D.
- Meeting the guaranteed minimum contract amount, which shall be equivalent to one patient for one day at the basic rate.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding nursing home care.
- Following the Quality Assurance Surveillance Program and Performance Work Statement specific to Medicaid in Alaska, as detailed in attached documents.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract will commence from the date of award and may extend up to five years.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed throughout the entire state of Alaska.
