Description

The US Fish and Wildlife Service has a requirement for Carpet Replacement at Wheeler NWR at Decatur, AL. The bases of award will be lowest price fair and reasonable NAICS code is 238330 and the small business size standard is $19 Million. The magnitude of construction is less than $25,000.
Background
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) at Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center in Decatur, AL, requires carpet replacement in the auditorium. The Service aims to match the new carpet with the existing stage carpet installed during recent renovations.

Work Details
The project involves removing and securely storing 126 auditorium chairs, removing approximately 240 linear feet of existing vinyl wall base, and installing new vinyl wall base (Flexco Wallflowers 4.5’’ – Ginger 07) provided by the Service.

The chairs will be reset in their exact positions after installation.

Period of Performance
From time of award to September 30, 2024. Work will be conducted during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding Federal holidays.
