AKTA Ready 450 Liquid Chromatography System   2

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE-SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.

The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA), Fort Detrick, MD 21702, in support of the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) Pilot BioProduction Facility (PBF), intends to award a sole source award to Cytivia. Global Life Sciences Solutions USA LLC, 100 Results Way, Marlborough, MA 01752, in accordance with FAR 13.501(a)(1)(i), as the only responsible source capable of providing an AKTA 450 Ready Liquid Chromatography System that meets WRAIR's requirement to support viral vaccine cGMP manufacturing. Provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-04 are incorporated.

The ATKA Ready 450 Liquid Chromatography System includes the following:

ATKA Ready 450 System, UNICORN & Manufacturing, Flow Kit Gradient TC, Flow Kit Isocratic TC, Binder CBS Qualification, Commission and Qualification Performance, White Glove Delivery Service, Basic Installation.

This announcement fulfills the synopsis requirements under FAR 5.102(a)(3) and 5.203(a). USAMRAA intends to release a solicitation no sooner than fifteen (15) days after publishing this synopsis. This Special Notice of Intent (NOI) is not a request for competitive quotes. Meaningful submissions received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. If no meaningful, written submissions are received by the date listed below, which reflects at least fifteen (15) days after the publication of this notice, the solicitation will be issued as a sole source requirement to Cytivia, Global Life Sciences USA, LLC.
