Background
This project utilizes funding of the Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA) allocated to the Izembek NWR. The project aims to reduce or eliminate deferred maintenance, reduce annual operating costs, remove, replace, or dispose of assets, address safety issues, protect employees and improve retention, and modernize infrastructure.

Work Details
The Design Build Contractor (DB) is responsible for providing all labor, facilities, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items to plan, design, permit and construct a complete project that fulfills the programmatic needs of the FWS. The project includes site investigation, DB scoping, data collection, recommendations, safety checklist verification services as well as design documents including drawings, specifications, estimate, and schedule. It also covers construction services such as retrofit, repair and maintenance of facilities and utilities serving the headquarters complex.
