Airway Transportation Systems Specialist (ATSS FV- 2101) Competency Model   2

Background
The Civil Aerospace Medical Institute (CAMI) is the medical certification, education, research, and occupational medicine wing of the Office of Aerospace Medicine (AAM) under the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Office of Aviation Safety (AVS). CAMI’s Aerospace Human Factors Division performs research that focuses on improving human performance capabilities, evaluating human factors, and optimizing the aviation workforce. This Performance Work Statement (PWS) supports research being conducted within CAMI’s Aerospace Human Factors Research Division to support the FAA’s Air Traffic Organization (ATO).

Work Details
The intent of this acquisition is to acquire research services in support of competency model work for the Airway Transportation Systems Specialist (ATSS) job series. The Contractor must provide support as indicated in the sections of the PWS. The Contractor will be expected to carry out functions autonomously subject to the mutual agreements, negotiations, approvals, and other constraints as set forth in this PWS and associated documents, including contract clauses.

Period of Performance
The period of performance will be 18 months after award.
