Airfield Primary and Secondary Crash Alarm System (PCAS)   2

Background
The contract involves the acquisition and installation of a Primary and Secondary Crash Alarm System (PCAS) at Fort Knox Godman Army Airfield (GAAF). The PCAS will be a direct-wired intercommunication system installed between various buildings at the airfield, providing immediate means of communication to primary emergency activities for notifying all essential supporting activities. The contractor is also required to provide all necessary training to maintain and operate the Primary Crash Alarm System, along with a warranty of twelve (12) months parts and labor, and an Annual Remote Support Agreement for remote diagnostics and advance replacement if required.

Work Details
The Primary and Secondary Crash Alarm System (PCAS) will consist of specific components including 4 PRIMARY Emergency Phones without keypad, with message indicator and push-to-talk button, 1 Emergency Conference System with 8 ports, 1 User Interface Console / GUI with a 15" screen, 1 ILM PA Interface, 1 Data Share Module for 2 or more GUI's, 1 Rack Mount UPS and 12 OUT PDU for the Primary Notification System; and similar components for the Secondary Notification System. Additionally, there will be a requirement for vendor-provided training to maintain and operate the system.
