The Mission Installation Contracting Command at Fort Rucker, AL is issuing this sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the requirement for Fire Extinguisher Inspection, Service and Maintenance to the 110th Aviation Brigade. This Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract is being competed as a 100% small business set-aside under NAICS code 811310 with a small business size standard of $12.5M and product service code J012. Responses from all categories of small businesses are welcome. This contract is for an estimated FIVE YEARS, base plus four option years. Please see Attachment 1_Statement of Work for specific details.

Background
The Mission Installation Contracting Command at Fort Rucker, AL is conducting market research to identify parties interested in supporting the requirement for Fire Extinguisher Inspection, Service and Maintenance for the 110th Aviation Brigade. This contract is a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) and is set aside for small businesses. The estimated duration of the contract is five years, including a base year and four option years.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to maintain, service, and provide annual life cycle replacement of 50- and 125/150-pound wheeled fire extinguishers located at Fort Rucker, Alabama. Services include:
1. Corrective Maintenance: Return fire extinguishers to full operating capacity per NFPA10 requirements; replace parts as needed after inspection.
2. Fire Extinguisher Recharge: Recharge extinguishers as indicated in the inspection list; replace extinguisher agents as necessary.
3. Labeling: Replace damaged or missing inspection stickers/plates/decals according to manufacturer specifications.
4. Hydrostatic Testing: Perform hydrostatic tests as per manufacturer recommendations; identify and return extinguishers that fail testing.
5. Annual Inspection: Conduct annual inspections as specified by manufacturers; identify and return extinguishers that fail inspections.
6. Annual Life Cycle Replacement: Provide replacements for extinguishers failing inspection criteria; ensure replacements meet NFPA10 requirements.
7. Reporting: Submit complete reports of maintenance and servicing upon completion of inspections and testing; maintain records for government review during the contract period.
