NASA/Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC) is hereby soliciting information from potential sources for a potential landing gear change on a NASA Gulfstream-IV. The aircraft is a US Navy Gulfstream-IV with a cargo door (Tail Number N522NA) currently located at NASA's Langley Air Research Center. Background
NASA/Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC) is soliciting information for a potential landing gear change on a NASA Gulfstream-IV aircraft, Tail Number N522NA, located at NASA’s Langley Air Research Center. The objective is to increase aircraft payload capacity by replacing the landing gear with different landing gear similar to the modification outlined in ASC-190. The earliest time period for the landing gear change would be late calendar year 2024.

Work Details
The contractor is required to replace the landing gear on NASA G-IV, T/N 522NA per ASC-190 or similar. They must provide a detailed work plan for the landing gear change including drawings, parts list, and schedule. The contractor shall also provide all serviceable parts and labor required to perform the landing gear change and complete it within 90 days of plan approval. All work shall be performed at the contractor’s facility.
