Aircraft Rental USWFS Aerial Supervision

Background
The Department of the Interior (DOI), Interior Business Center (IBC), Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD) is conducting market research to identify parties capable of providing five rental Beechcraft King Air B200 aircraft for the U.S. Wildland Fire Service (USWFS) Aerial Supervision Module (ASM) Program.

The goal is to support aerial supervision over wildland fire incidents, coordinating air tankers, and transporting personnel and cargo.

Work Details
The contractor will provide five rental Beechcraft King Air B200 aircraft, which must be from model years 1984-2013, with serial numbers BB-1192 through BB-2019, and without winglets or cargo doors.

The contractor is responsible for providing the aircraft, insurance, and maintenance (both scheduled and unscheduled) to ensure airworthiness in compliance with FAA regulations and DOI policy. The aircraft must be available for up to 14 hours per day, seven days a week, for 240 consecutive days approximately from February 1st through September 27th, with potential day-by-day extensions post-September 27th.

The base of operation will be Boise, Idaho, with dispatch capabilities throughout the contiguous United States, Alaska, and occasionally Canada and Mexico.
