Aircraft Armament Equipment (AAE) for F/A-18E/F Aircraft Production Lot 42A

This contract modification provided procurement funding for contractor furnished equipment for aircraft armament equipment for Lot 42A F/A-18E/F aircraft. Parts include pylons for bomb racks, missile launchers with associated fittings, adaptors and mounting retainers, station control units, air and fuel probes with suspension lugs, chaff dispenser units, feed through plates and well covers. Administrative changes were also made in the modification.

This sole source action includes Firm Fixed Price and Fixed Price Incentive Firm Target contract types. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B), the items being procured are available only from the original source as in the case of a follow-on contract, it is likely that award to another source would result in unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements.
