Background
The solicitation is for a five-year requirements contract for the repair and modification of electro-optic sensors. The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) will maintain configuration control and change authority for all items in this contract. The contractor is required to participate in the Government-Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP) and actively submit information concerning critical or major nonconformances to the GIDEP information system.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to repair and/or modify the ordered quantities of repairable assemblies. The contractor is responsible for supplying all parts and material necessary to perform the required repairs under this Contract unless parts or material are specifically identified as Government Furnished Material (GFM). The contractor shall establish and maintain a system of control over purchased parts and material. Purchased parts and material shall be inspected by the Contractor upon receipt at the Contractor’s facility to ensure conformance with all requirements of the applicable drawings and specifications.

Period of Performance
The solicitation will ultimately result in award of a five-year requirements contract. Prices will be for Repair/Modification of the items specified on Attachment A hereto, for a period of five years from the date of award period(s).

Place of Performance
Material to be delivered FOB Origin at or near contractor's plant in the manner specified.
