Background
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center is hosting an Industry Day on 01-02 Mar 2023 to solicit feedback from interested industry representatives regarding an initiative by the Support Equipment & Vehicles Division to repair & sustain the ATGL system. The ATGL is a piece of common support equipment that is currently used on the C-5, C-17, C-130 and KC-46. It has been in use for 30+ years by the USAF, with the current design being used for approximately 20 years. The unit can hold up to 39 gallons of portable water and 55.5 gallons of waste (plus 11 gallons of pre-charge). The current configuration meets MIL-HDBK-516 (Airworthiness Certification Criteria) and MIL-STD-461 (Control of Electromagnetic Interference Characteristics of Subsystems and Equipment) or equivalent commercial standards.

Work Details
The Performance Work Statement (PWS) describes the requirements and Contractor Logistics Services (CLS) required for the sustainment of the Air Transportable Galley and Lavatory (ATGL). This includes Program Engineering Support (PES), depot sustainment/repair, and material management (MM) to the ATGL units. The Contractor shall accomplish all tasks necessary to ensure a successful depot repair of the ATGL that will result in a 'like new' unit with condition code 'A' as defined in this PWS. The effort shall include program management, engineering services, depot repair, and other various processes and procedures described herein. The total quantity of USAF ATGLs in use worldwide is 163. The Contractor shall provide mobile maintenance teams as well as support for repair parts logistics, training, sustaining engineering, engineering drawings, change proposals, program engineering support (PES), Configuration Management (CM), Overhaul and repair, field level support, program management support, and Quality Assurance.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract/order will be a three (3) year base with seven (7) option years.

Place of Performance
These services will be performed at the Contractor’s facility.
